Indiana Hackers trade Lenny Wilkens to Long Beach for Bill Russell

1961:

Long Beach trades Paul Arizin (F, 5/5) and Bill Sharman (G, 5/3) for Costa's first round pick for next year (which KCC has the option to swap due to a previous trade).

1960:

Costa Mesa trades its 1961 first round draft choice to KCC for Wilt Chamberlain. Wilt reverts back to KCC's roster in 1961 (after nearly a season with Costa Mesa). KCC also gets the right to switch draft choices one time in 4 drafts (1962-1965).
