Basketball Trades: 1987Philadelphia trades Greg Cadillac Anderson to The King's Crimson Cobras for Johnny Dawkins. Denver trades Kevin Johnson, Bobby Hansen, and Denver's 1st pick of the next (1989) draft (#2 overall who turned out to be Rod Strickland) for Magic Johnson and Rolando Blackman. Portland trades Dominique Wilkins to New Jersey (soon to be Indiana) for AC Green and Mark Jackson. San Antonio trades Bernard King and James Donaldson to Portland for Charles Oakley and Mike Gminski. Portland trades Kurt Rambis to Philadephia for Randy Breuer. Golden State trades Dennis Rodman to The King's Crimson Cobras for Reggie Miller, thus becoming the first in a long line of Cobras that can't shoot free throws. Denver trades John Stockton and Eddie Johnson to River City for Chuck Person and River City's first round pick (9th pick overall) which turned out to be Kevin Duckworth.
