Denver trades Robert Parish and their 2nd round pick (17th overall) of the 1987 draft (Gerald Wilkins) to River City for Moses Malone and John Bagley. Phoenix trades Charles Barkley and Larry Nance to The King's Crimson Cobras for Larry Bird and James Worthy. Utah trades Clyde Drexler and their 2nd round pick (11th overall) of the 1987 draft (who turned out to be Terry Porter) to The King's Crimson Cobras for Magic Johnson. Portland trades Maurice Cheeks to KCC for Kareem Abdul Jabbar.
